On April 6, UAOD together with partners will hold a forum on issues of legislative provision of adult learning and education in Ukraine
On April 6, 2023, the Ukrainian Association of Adult Education, together with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Subcommittee on Higher Education of the Verkhovna Rada and the DVV International Representative Office in Ukraine, will hold a Forum on the legislative provision of adult education and training in Ukraine. The event will take place in the city of Kyiv face-to-face, the estimated duration is 6 hours.
During the Forum, participants will be able to exchange opinions on the role of the law “On Adult Education” in the post-war reconstruction and restoration of Ukraine and other opportunities that this document provides to citizens and communities. Discussion and agreement of the most important amendments submitted to the draft law are also provided for. At the end of the event, the Forum participants will adopt a joint statement/memorandum regarding the adoption of the draft law and the procedure for its further implementation.
The event will be attended by representatives of governing authorities, people’s deputies – members of the specialized committee of the VRU, representatives of regional education management bodies, leaders of communities with approved strategies for the development of adult education, members of the Association, representatives of European missions and ambassadors, donor and international organizations working in the field training and education of adults, leaders of public opinion, as well as scientists, educators, public activists.
At least one representative will be invited from member organizations.
Speeches by international guests will be provided with simultaneous translation.
